ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-08-2024 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that the entire amount due to the petitioner has been paid and the said statement has not been controverted by the counsel for the petitioner. However, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the amounts have been paid after a delay of almost nine years and without paying any interest.

2. Having regard to the above, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation seeking payment of interest on the delayed

Patna High Court CWJC No.1888 of 2024(6) dt.23-08-2024 2/2 payment of the amounts within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being given, the same shall be considered on its own merits.
