2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 127(6), 140(4), 143, 145, 64, 61, 352, 351 and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Immoral Trafficking Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that one Shakila Khatoon aged about 20 years apprehended with the petitioner in a room of a hotel.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case merely on the basis of suspicion. It is pertinent to note here that the victim is a major girl. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.88999 of 2024(2) dt.28-02-2025 2/2 of the petitioner. Similarly situated other co-accused person has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 11.02.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 86518 of 2024. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 10.10.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 53 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea.
