The petitioner seeks bail in Alamganj P.S. case No. 753/2019 registered under Section 419, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, u/s 3⁄4 of Lottery Regulation Act and u/s 30(a) 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The gist of the allegation against the petitioner is that he was running illegal lottery. The petitioner was apprehended on the spot and 35 liters of country made liquor was recovered from the place of occurrence. The petitioner is in custody since 20.10.2019. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about five months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78107 of 2019(2) dt.19-03-2020 2/2 bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Alamganj P.S. case No. 753/2019.
