2. This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of K. Hat (Sahayak) Police Station Case No. 976 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c)/21(b) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 55 gram of smack from the house of Sujit Kumar. From the prosecution case, it also appears that the petitioner had gone to consume smack and he was caught along with others.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 20.08.2023.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-X, Purnea, in connection with K. Hat (Sahayak) Police Station Case No. 976 of 2023.

7. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence in K. Hat (Sahayak) Police Station, District-Purnea, on first Sunday of every month.
