The petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the Collector, Nalanda, Biharsharif to pay the salary of the petitioner since 30.06.2018 to 12.06.2019. The petitioner retired from service and by order as contained in Memo No.744, dated 29.06.2018, the petitioner joined on the post of Assistant Urdu Translator, Block Officer, Sarmera on 30.06.2018. The petitioner worked till 12.06.2019 but the petitioner has not been paid his salary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition of the petitioner may be disposed of with a

Patna High Court CWJC No.25030 of 2019(2) dt.13-12-2019 2/2 direction to the Collector, Nalanda, Biharsharif to make payment of salary to the petitioner who has worked on contract after his retirement as Assistant Urdu Translator with effect from 30.06.2018 to 12.06.2019 after verification about the attendance of the petitioner in the office.

Having considered the submissions, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Collector, Nalanda, Biharsharif that if the petitioner has worked in pursuance of the order as contained in Memo No.744, dated 29.06.2018 from 30.06.2018 to 12.06.2019 on contract basis, his salary, as agreed, be paid within three months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
