This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Barahara (Krishnagarh) P.S. Case No.118 of 2021 registered for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier, the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 14.07.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.41734 of 2023.

The petitioner and others are said to have looted Rs.3,06,000/- from the informant. The petitioner is accused in 14 more criminal cases.

Pursuant to the earlier order dated 16.02.2024 the S.H.O. of Barahara (Krishnagarh) Police Station has reported that there is no order for appearance of the petitioner in the local

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5972 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 police station. Therefore, the contention of the petitioner that he was present in the local police station is wrong. 6.

I see no reason to review my earlier order dated 14.07.2023. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible. The petitioner shall cooperate in the trial.
