2. The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:

I. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities for payment of post retirement benefits of the petitioner under the following Heads :- (a) Pension;

(b) Gratuity;

(c) GPF;

II. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to pay the

Patna High Court CWJC No.438 of 2024(8) dt.18-06-2026 2/3 aforesaid dues of the petitioner arising out of his retirement benefit with interest on the ground that the payments of the retirement benefits of the petitioner has been delayed on account of deliberate action of the Respondent Authorities and no fault can be attributed to the petitioner. III. For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders direction/ directions for which the writ petitioner would be entitled under the facts and circumstances of the case.

Counsel for the respondent by referring to para 8 of the 02nd Supplementary Counter Affidavit filed on behalf of the Respondent no. 4 submits that the entire grievances of the petitioner with respect to the pending difference of pay to the tune of Rs. 5,69,294/- and accordingly the difference of pay on account of Provident Fund amounting to Rs. 79,520/- have already been paid in the account of the petitioner on 28.04.2026 itself. It has next been submitted that all the dues under the head of the pre and post retirement benefits have been paid to the petitioner and no dues amount in respect of the petitioner is pending against the department.

4. Counter-affidavit is said to have been served upon the counsel for the petitioner on 05.05.2026 and no rejoinder to the said counter-affidavit is yet been filed.

5. Considering the factual position obtaining on record, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty that for any
