1. Though the present petition has been filed by way of 3rd attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No.752 of 2018 (S. Tr. No.05 of 2020), under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present petition, nonetheless, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after a lapse of one year from today, in view of the fact that out of nine chargesheet witnesses, six witnesses have already been examined. Liberty so sought is granted.

2. It is needless to state that the learned Court of Additional Sessions Judge-III, Patna City shall ensure that remaining prosecution witnesses are examined/cross examined, within a period of six months from today and for the said

No.1924 of 2024(4) dt.19-07-2024 2/2 purpose, this Court authorises the learned Trial Court to take appropriate steps including coercive steps, in accordance with law, for the purposes of securing attendance of the remaining prosecution witnesses. It is expected that the trial shall be then concluded, expeditiously.

3. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
