The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 330 of 2019, for the offence under section 30 (a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. The seized liquor as well as the vehicle in question does not belong to the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80996 of 2019(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 let, the above named, petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, in connection with Excise Case No. 330 of 2019.
