JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 29-07-2022 The petitioner in the present case is seeking appropriate investigation of the case. It seems to be a dispute between the petitioner and the elder brother of her deceased husband.

According to the counter affidavit, there are allegations and counter allegations. In paragraph '13', it is stated that the investigation of this case will be completed within a period of six months and final form will be submitted in this case as there are a

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1714 of 2019(5) dt.29-07-2022 2/2 lot of facts which have to be verified. This affidavit has been filed on or about 24.01.2020.

The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, the socalled six months' time given in the counter affidavit has not expired as the investigating agency is sitting over the matter and has not filed the police report.

Be that as it may, this Court is disposing of this writ application with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna (respondent no. 6) to look into the matter and ensure that the investigation is concluded within a period of four months from the date of receipt/communication of this order and police report in terms of Section 173 Cr.P.C. be filed within the given period.
