JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-12-2018 Petitioners pray for bail in connection with Tikapatti P.S.Case No. 98 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against 16 accused persons, including the petitioners is of assaulting the deceased and causing his death. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that no specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioners and petitioners are ladies and they are in custody for about six months.
Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that later on some witnesses have also stated that petitioner No.1 assaulted the deceased with Bhala.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.69272 of 2018(2) dt.04-12-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Purnea, in connection with Tikapatti P.S.Case No. 98 of 2018, subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
