This application for regular bail arises out of Bidupur P.S. Case No. 92 of 2019 disclosing offences punishable under Sections 307,387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged in the First Information Report that the petitioner shot at the informant causing fire arm injury in the left side waist. On perusal of the injury report, the said allegation stands substantiated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is allegation of shooting at the informant twice causing two injuries but the second injury does not appear to have been caused by fire arm. I do not find any force in the said

From perusal of the injury report, it transpires that the injuries have been found to have been caused by fire arm. The petitioner has ten criminal cases registered against him from 1998 till 2019.

Considering the direct nature of allegation and the petitioner has criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant him the privilege of bail.

This application is rejected.
