JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-01-2025 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. For issuance of an appropriate writ/s, order/s, direction/s, directing the Respondents to issue a fresh Cheque for an amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- (four lacs) in favour of the petitioner, which was issued on the head of Disaster Compensation granted on account of death of the son of the petitioner in a Flood Calamity and further be pleased to direct the Respondents to pay up to date interest on the above mentioned amount."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District

Patna High Court CWJC No.19565 of 2024(2) dt.07-01-2025 2/2 Magistrate, District-Araria for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Araria within a period of four weeks from today, he shall dispose off the same by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
