20-11-2018 In the order dated 19.09.2018 passed by this court, the release of the vehicle has been ordered on the petitioner furnishing two sureties along with Bank Guarantee for the value of the vehicle in question as indicated in the insurance documents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the seizure of the vehicle the insurance could not be renewed, and therefore presently there is no valid insurance document of the vehicle.
In the aforesaid view of the matter, let the District Magistrate, Gaya take appropriate steps to direct a competent person from the office of the District Transport Office, Gaya to submit a valuation report of the vehicle as per present condition. Such report be submitted within a
Patna High Court MJC No.4361 of 2018 (2) dt.20-11-2018 period of 15 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
In case, the petitioner submits the two sureties along with Bank Guarantee for the value of the vehicle in question as indicated in the valuation report, the order dated 19.09.2018 passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 2132/2018 shall be given effect to by the District Magistrate, Gaya within a period of one week from the date of submission. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J.) Rajeev/- U
