The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 352 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise (Amended) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that about two litres of liquor is alleged to have been recovered from a bag which was found abandoned, but the petitioner has been named in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing
