1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) For a direction to the respondent authorities to grant the benefit of Old Pension Scheme to the petitioners as they were recruited as Constables vide Bhagalpur District Order No. 1137/2013

Patna High Court CWJC No.159 of 2024(2) dt.15-02-2024 2/2 dated 14.05.2013 and Bhagalpur District Order No. 1650/2012 dated 20.07.2012 respectively, pursuant to an Advertisement No. 01/1998."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
