Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 188, 290 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Petitioner is the owner of the vehicle on which foreign liquor was being unloaded from a truck. Petitioner has got identical criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 25.10.2019.

Considering the entire facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of the charge, on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78589 of 2019(2) dt.03-12-2019 2/2 bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Excise, Begusarai in connection with Cheribariyapur P.S.Case No.134 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
