Having taken this Court through the order passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 2454 of 2017 (Annexure 'P/7') and then the subsequent orders passed by learned S.D.J.M., Danapur (Annexure 'P/8') learned counsel for the petitioner has been able to demonstrate that it is only on much persuasion of the petitioner and when the Court intended to take a stringent action against the Investigating Officer, the things have proceeded to some extent. Now it has come on record that the statement of the witnesses have been recorded.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1886 of 2019(5) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 investigation is proceeding in right direction and it is likely to be concluded very soon.

Since this Court is satisfied with the materials available on the record that the Investigating Officer of the case has not completed the investigation after the order was passed by the learned court below to further investigate the matter, for a considerable period and it is only when this Court took up the matter and serious actions were envisaged, the authorities proceeded with the case, at this stage, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Patna (respondent no. 3) to keep on supervising this case at his own level and ensure that the Investigating Officer and all others who are required to carry on his directions must comply with the same within the time frame fixed by him. In any case, the respondent no. 3 shall ensure completion of the further investigation in terms of the order of the learned court below within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and shall submit a report in the court below within the said period.
