The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Morkahi P.S. Case no. 55 of 2018, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The accusation is of recovery of 1.5 liters of Mahua, country made liquor, from the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that petitioner was not apprehended on the spot. Further submission is that the house, which is said to be raided by the informant, is used by joint family members of the petitioner and petitioner has no knowledge about keeping of alleged country made liquor by his family members.
