Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that the licence of the petitioner has been cancelled initially by the Sub-Divisional Officer, West Muzaffarpur, vide order dated 26.03.20.21 (Annexure P/2) and thereafter, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur and vide order dated 25.02.2022 (Annexure P/3), the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.164 of 2024(2) dt.15-01-2024 2/3 Muzaffarpur has remanded the matter back to the SubDivisional Officer for considering the matter afresh. Learned counsel has stated that even though the PDS licence of the petitioner has been restored (Annexure P/4) but the actual stock of food grains have not been handed over to the petitioner. Learned counsel has stated that the petitioner has given a representation (Annexure -P/5) to the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur ventilating his grievance. Learned counsel has stated that a direction may be given to the concerned District Magistrate to dispose off the representation made by the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that he has no objection if a direction is given to the concerned authority to dispose off the representation made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed off directing the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, i.e, Respondent No. 4 to dispose off the representation (Annexure P/5) made by the petitioner as expeditiously as possibly preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt/production of the copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands dispose off.
