The petitioner seeks bail in Riga P.S. case No. 182/ 2019 registered under Section 341, 323, 504, 506, 307/34 of the IPC and u/s 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant named the petitioner and other accused persons and alleged that all the accused persons, including the petitioner, took him to a mango orchard at 9.30 in the night and abused the informant. They also pointed pistol at him. On alarm, many villagers came and the accused persons started fleeing away. The petitioner was apprehended.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is said to have been apprehended on the spot but no fire arm was recovered from his possession. The informant did not receive any injury. The petitioner is in jail since 03.07.2019.
