2. The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s):

(i) To remove/the siphon/vent given in Done Canal R.D. No. 198.2 or make alternative arrangements constructed by Irrigation department whereby the crops in the agricultural land of the petitioner is being damaged due to discharge of flood water through these siphon.

(ii) To pay compensation to the petitioner for damaging the crops due

No. 198.2.

3. A counter affidavit has come on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 to 5 and the connecting Annexure shows that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of with detailed order to show that the canal has been made in the land of the Water Resources Department and even prior to that, the siphon was existing which has been acknowledged by the petitioner.

4. In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be taking appropriate steps in accordance with law.

5. Granting said liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
