Petitioner was appointed on temporary honorarium post. Later on, the Senate of the J.P. University made recommendation to the State of Bihar for payment of honorarium in accordance with the U.G.C. Guidelines but the State of Bihar has not yet taken decision with regard to payment of honorarium to such teacher.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1080 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 It is submitted that similarly situated persons, namely, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Singh and Manoj Kumar Singh filed C.W.J.C. No.6168 of 2017 for payment of honorarium as they had worked as Guest Lecturer/Assistant Teacher in J.P. University and a Bench of this court disposed of the aforesaid writ petition with a direction to the Vice-Chancellor of the J.P. University to consider the case of the petitioners and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

Having considered the aforesaid facts, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Vice-Chancellor, J.P. University to dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
