2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 101 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a,26 of the Arms Act whereas in the order Sections 25(1-b),26/35 of the Arms Act has been mentioned.

3. Allegedly, on the tip-off, the petitioner was nabbed and on search, one country-made pistol and one live cartridge were recovered from his possession.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is under custody since 16.02.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.87751 of 2024(2) dt.05-02-2025 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has a strong criminal antecedent of 25 cases and he was arrested at the spot with arms and ammunition.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances coupled with the fact that the petitioner has 25 criminal antecedents, I do not think it to be a fit case for bail, which is hereby rejected.
