The petitioner was shown 'fail' in Paper-V of theory paper of Part-III (Physical Chemistry Paper) of three-year degree course, for which the examination was held in the month of May, 2017. He is not satisfied with the marks awarded to him in the said paper and he wants re-evaluation of the answersheet. Learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner has, however, confined his prayer to the extent of a direction to the Magadh University to scrutinize the answer-sheet so as to ensure that all the answers have been evaluated and re-totalling of marks has accurately been done.

Patna High Court CWJC No.22525 of 2018(2) dt.27-11-2018 2/2 Considering the nature of submission, which the learned counsel for the petitioner has made, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Controller of Examination, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, to accept the application and fee for scrutiny of the said answer-sheet of the petitioner and inform the petitioner about the outcome of the scrutiny within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of the application.
