2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 406, 420 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2018.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner, who is a lady and Vikas Mitra of Chandhari Gram Panchayat, has been falsely implicated as evident from the very fact that no money had been released in favour of the beneficiaries who are four F.I.R. named accused persons. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP opposes the anticipatory bail application, submitting that the petitioner was the enquiry authority and certified the old safety tanks as new and hence

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of the offence and the accusations that the petitioner had signed the applications of the beneficiaries as the enquiry authority to enable payments, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. It is made clear that if the petitioner moves for regular bail before the Court below, the same shall be disposed of expeditiously on its own merits.
