Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 509 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely because he is father-in-law of the daughter of the informant. Moreover, the injuries sustained have been found to be simple in nature. Petitioner has no criminal history.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78738 of 2019(3) dt.17-12-2019 2/2 opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is named accused. There are specific allegation against him of assaulting the informant, which is supported by the injuries sustained.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is, therefore, rejected.
