Petitioner seeks bail in Raghopur P.S. Case No.87 of 2018, registered under Sections 489(Ka), 489(Kha), 489(Ga) and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that he got information that one person is purchasing some material near Vishwakarma Chowk and giving fake currency notes. The police went there and apprehended the petitioner. From possession of the petitioner, 24 pieces of Rs.50/- denomination, 4 pieces of Rs.20/- denomination and 18 pieces of Rs.10/- denomination were recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no knowledge about the fake currency. Petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.73726 of 2018(2) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 is in jail since 16.04.2018 and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner has already remained in jail for about eight months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Birpur in connection with Raghopur P.S.
