The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 858 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498A, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the report of mediation, the dispute between the parties could not be resolved through the process of mediation. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs.2,000/- on or before 7th of every month to the informant as a maintenance.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Bhagalpur in connection with Complaint Case No. 858 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. If the petitioner fails to pay the said maintenance amount within two consecutive dates, then the informant is directed to file petition before the court below for cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. A direction is given to the informant to furnish her account number to the petitioner within two weeks. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Nasimul/- U T
