2. The present petition has been preferred for directing the respondent nos. 2,3, and 4 to initiate the land and create jamabandi number in favour of the petitioner.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is having valid piece of paper but the Circle Officer, Rafiganj, Aurangabad despite earlier filing a petition on 21.03.2018, no action was taken.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since six years have elapsed, he will be filing a fresh representation before the concerned Circle Officer.

5. Learned State counsel submits that once a petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.1480 of 2024(2) dt.09-05-2024 2/2 has been filed, it is the duty of the Circle Officer to take the same to its logical conclusion.

6. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner approaches the Circle Officer, Rafiganj, Aurangabad (respondent no. 4) and file a petition within a period of four weeks from today along with the documents and requisite fee, he shall be taking up the matter after noticing the concerned parties and will take the same to its logical conclusion within a period of three months from the date the petition has been filed.
