Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Recovery of liquor is alleged from a Car standing in front of the house of the petitioner. Submission is that neither the liquor is of the petitioner nor the car is of the petitioner. Only on suspicion, the petitioner has been booked in this case. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 22.09.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78941 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Maniyari Police Station Case No.234 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
