Petitioner has earlier moved this Court for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. No. 13325 of 2019 which was rejected vide order dated 11.04.2019 (Annexure-1).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The first information report has been lodged after about two days of the alleged occurrence. He submits that there are several contradictions in the statements of witnesses regarding the manner of occurrence. He submits that petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial. Petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2018.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83684 of 2019(4) dt.17-06-2020 2/2 Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that no fresh ground has been urged on behalf of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that no fresh ground has been urged on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is, therefore, rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case and conclude it within six months. (Arvind Srivastava, J) mcv/- U T
