Petitioner apprehends his arrest in the instant case lodged for the offence under sections 307/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that he and one another co-accused Manjit Yadav assaulted informant's brother with lathi causing multiple injuries on his head and other parts of the body for which he had to rush to the PMCH for treatment.

In view of the allegation of assault against the petitioner, his prayer for bail is rejected with direction to the petitioner to surrender and seek regular bail within six weeks, which would be considered and disposed of on its own merit without prejudice.
