In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 79 of 2019 (POCSO Case No. 34/2019) registered for offences under sections 376, 377, 504, 323, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

As per First Information Report, the petitioner is the uncle of a little girl of 12 years of age, he took her to the room of grandmother, made her nude and sodomized her as well as raped her.

The charge-sheet has been submitted.

The petitioner is in judicial custody since 28.5.2019.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected with a liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completion of 9 months of his judicial custody.
