JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-01-2020 There are 63 petitioners, who claim benefits arising out of a Resolution of Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, issued vide Memo. No. 7381 dated 03.07.2015, whereby a decision has been taken, inter alia, to pay a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- to such Home Guards, who have served as such for last 20 years, out of which the total period of actual service is equal to 10 years of service days.
The petitioners claim that they qualify under subclause (V) of Clause 2 of the said Resolution, which has been brought on record by way of Annexure-1 to the writ application. Considering the nature of grievance, which the
5/5 petitioners have raised, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No. 4 and 7 to consider the claim of the petitioners and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
If the petitioners are found to be entitled to the said amount, as indicated in Clause 2(V) of the said Resolution, the amount in question must be paid to them within one month thereafter.
This disposes of this application.
