2. Reasons assigned for condonation of delay are as under:- "5. That as the petitioner was engrossed in his official work as well as the departmental proceedings as such he was not able to contact his lawyer frequently who was pursuing his writ application bearing CWJC No. No. 19403 of 2016.

6. That he came to know about disposal of the his writ application by the impugned order dated 23.11.2017 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19403 of 2016 only through the order of punishment 15.10.2019 issued by the concerned respondent whereby he has been removed from service.

7. That thereafter the petitioner collected the records of C.W.J.C. No. 19403 of 2016 and obtained the certified copy of the order dated 23.11.2017 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19403 of 2016 and contacted his lawyer 20.11.2019 who asked him furnish some other relevant papers for drafting of LPA. Finally the LPA was drafted and filed on 26.11.2019."

3. From reading of para 5 to 7 cited supra sufficient cause has not been shown so as to condone enormous delay of 703 days.

4. In view of these facts and circumstances, I.A No. 01 of 2020, stands rejected.

LPA No. 1557 of 2019.

5. Accordingly, LPA stands dismissed.
