The petitioner apprehend their arrest in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case no. 134 of 2019, registered under Sections 342 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that on 08.04.2018 at about 8.00 P.M., informant Nilam Devi was preparing meal in her house, all of sudden, her husband Nandlal Das, Saryu Das, Chameli Devi and Gajo Das, father-in-law and mother-in-law and brother in law of informant came and locked her in the house and her husband Nandlal Das came and sprinkled kerosene oil and lit match box, but on raising alarm, villagers came and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78749 of 2019(4) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 saved the informant, but till that time she sustained burn injury. Thereafter, she was rushed to the Sadar hospital for treatment. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on perusal of the fardbeyan of informant, it would appear that the allegation of sprinkling of kerosene oil and put the fire is against Nandlal Das, husband of informant, but petitioners being the mother-in-law and brother-in-law have falsely been implicated in this case only to give undue pressure. Moreso, Nandlal Das, husband of the informant, has been granted regular bail vide Criminal Miscellaneous No. 60399 of 2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Amrendra Kumar Raj, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 134 of 2019, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
