In the present writ application, the following reliefs have been sought for on behalf of the petitioner : 1(i) For issuance of a writ of certiorari for grant of licence of pistol/revolver to the petitioner.
(ii) For issuance of a writ of certiorari for grant of licence on all Bihar for safety of life and property of the petitioner.
(iii) For issuance of a writ of certiorari for give the direction to the appropriate authority for granting licence of pistol/revolver in favour of petitioner.
(iv) For issuance of a writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents to pay all other
Patna High Court CWJC No.23971 of 2018(2) dt.31-01-2019 2/2 consequential benefits to the petitioner as admissible under law.
Vide Annexure 1 to the present application dated 13.03.2018, an application was made on behalf of the petitioner in respect of the arms licence. The said application is pending till date.
The Respondent No.3 i.e. The District Magistrate, Patna is directed to dispose of the said application filed on behalf of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
