The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 670 of 2019 for the offence registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prevention of Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 400 litres of illicit liquor from the car which was being driven by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 17.10.2019.
