Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the CBSC refusing correction in the father's name of the petitioner Aditya Aryan Choudhary (Minor).

The present writ application has been filed to his natural guardian.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for correction in the name of father of the petitioner, application was submitted by the petitioner but the CBSC declined to entertain the application and rejected the same. Mr. Vinay Krishna Tripathy, learned counsel

Patna High Court CWJC No.24643 of 2018(4) dt.18-10-2019 2/2 appearing on behalf of the CBSC submits that CBSC maintains record on the basis of entries made in the school record and register.

Since name of the father of the petitioner is maintained as Raj Kumar Choudhary in the school record, therefore, CBSC rejected the application for correction in the name of father of the petitioner as Raj Kumar Prasad Choudhary.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Gyan Bharti Model Residential Computer, Dhanawan, Hisua, Nawada for correction in the name of father of the petitioner as Raj Kumar Prasad Choudhary and if the school in question accepts the claim of the petitioner for correction in the name of father of the petitioner as Raj Kumar Prasad Choudhary and forwarded the same to the CBSC for follow up correction then the CBSC will do needful at the earliest.
