1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 302 and Section 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, one dead body was recovered from the field.

4. Initially, the deadbody was identified by one Vinod Mistri as his daughter. During investigation, it has come that the deceased was Anjani Kumari @ Anju Kumari. This is a case of honour killing as the deceased got married with a boy belonging to a different caste. The deceased was killed by the petitioner and others. Petitioner is in jail since 28.08.2023.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1523 of 2024(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is dismissed.

6. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner/s.
