This application for regular bail arises out of Hilsa P.S. Case No. 279 of 2019, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2019. It is alleged in the F.I.R. that the petitioner duped the informant and made her marry with him in the pretext that he was a Mohammedan. There is allegation that the petitioner established physical relationship thereafter and subsequently started making demand of dowry.

Considering the nature of dispute as emerging from the F.I.R., in my opinion, a case for grant regular bail is made
