2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 420, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 138 of the N.I. Act registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 352 of 2017.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and in any event he expresses his readiness to make payment of the amount of the bounced cheque of Rs. 40,000/- to the complainant in instalments.
4. Learned counsel for the complainant opposes the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73401 of 2018(3) dt.11-03-2019 2/2 anticipatory bail petition submitting that apart from the amount of Rs. 40,000/-, the petitioner had assured to make payment of Rs. 64,000/- in cash by way of part sale consideration of 65 quintals of wheat for the total value of Rs. 1,04,000/-.
5. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of the offence alleged and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner which disclose that the petitioner has been made accused in three prior cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
