2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 331 of 2016, lodged on 15.11.2016 under Sections 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was rejected thrice vide orders dated 09.10.2018, 01.05.2019 and 02.09.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. Nos. 52873 of 2018, 26647 of 2019 and 18492 of 2022 respectively. Counsel further submits that a report has been called for vide order no.2 dated 05.01.2024, and it transpires from the said report that the case is pending for argument on behalf of the prosecution.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2017.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 331 of 2016, pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-VII, Danapur, Patna is hereby rejected.

8. It is directed to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within 60 days.
