1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Special Excise Case no.5310 of 2023 (arising out of Sabour P.S. Case no.593 of 2023) registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
3. As per the prosecution case, 20 litres of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he was taken into custody.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession and he has been falsely implicated in the case because of his antecedents. He is in custody since 3.11.2023 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State who submits that the petitioner is accused in as many as four cases of similar nature from before.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation in the F.I.R., the petitioner having been arrested at the spot with 20 litres of liquor and his antecedents, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
7. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing six months in custody. (Partha Sarthy, J) Saurabh/- U T
