2. The petitioners apprehends their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 62, 64, 76, 3 (5) of the B.N.S. and section 8, 12 of the POCSO Act. 3.

The prosecution case in brief is that the daughter of informant went to market, where co-accused Rohit Kumar and these petitioners dragged her and tried to commit rape and when she raised alarm, all the accused persons fled away from there.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that

On account of political enmity, petitioners have been roped in this case. As a matter of fact, on 10.10.2024, an altercation took place between the parties in which petitioners side got injured and the son of the informant is main accused in the said case and only with a view to put undue pressure, this false and concocted case has been lodged. Petitioners have clean antecedent 5.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners and submit that there is specific allegation against these accused-petitioners that they along with other dragged the informant daughter and also tried to commit rape upon her.

Considering the accusation and gravity of offence, this anticipatory bail petition stands rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Ranjeet/- U T
