JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 17-03-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State assisted by learned counsel for the informant.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Vide order dated 11.02.2025, a report regarding the stage of the trial and the time likely to be taken in conclusion of the trial. In compliance thereof, the learned A.D.J.-XIV, Gaya has sent a report, which is at Flag 'B'. In his report, the learned Judge has inter alia reported that out of 8 chargesheet witnesses, 5 witnesses have been examined and the trial of the case is likely to be concluded in four months if prosecution produced rest of the witnesses.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the report aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months.
