JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-12-2018 After some argument, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum for redressal of his grievance. It is further prayed that the electricity connection of the petitioner be restored and for that purpose the petitioner is ready to deposit a part of amount of the total outstanding dues. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has got no objection in case the petitioner approaches the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, however, for restoration of electricity connection, 50 per cent of the outstanding dues be deposited by the petitioner. Patna High Court CWJC No.22880 of 2018(2) dt.21-12-2018 2/2 case, the present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to move the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum for redressal of his grievance. In the meantime, it is directed that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. Five lacs & fifty thousand (5,50,000/-) before the respondent no. 4 i.e. Electrical Executive Engineer, North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Electric Supply Division, Begusarai, whereafter the electricity line of the petitioner shall be energized within 48 hours of such deposit. It is needless to state that the aforesaid amount of Rs. 5,50,000/- shall be subject to the final outcome of the complaint to be filed by the petitioner before the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum.

It is further stated that in case the petitioner does not file a complaint before the concerned Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum within a period of six weeks from today, the present order would be rendered void.
