The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Didarganj P.S. Case No. 245 of 2019 (Special Case No. 7407 of 2019), registered for offence punishable under Section 30(a) and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the illicit liquor. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 19.08.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78593 of 2019(2) dt.03-12-2019 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Patna in connection with Didarganj P.S. Case No. 245 of 2019 (Special Case No. 7407 of 2019).
