2. The writ application has been filed, seeking a direction upon the respondents authorities to issue Bansawali Pramanpatra (Family Tree) to the petitioner on the basis of application filed by the petitioner, which is pending adjudication.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner for redressal of his grievance has filed applications dated 24.01.2025 & 13.05.2025 (Annexure 1 & 2) along with the entire documents before the Collector, Bhagalpur (Respondent No.2) but, the same have not yet been disposed of.

Patna High Court CWJC No.20198 of 2025(2) dt.11-05-2026 2/2 It is next submitted that the petitioner is running pillar to post for redressal of the grievance but, the authorities are sitting tight over the matter for the reason best known to him.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that since the applications have already been made, the competent authority is required to adjudicate the same by passing an appropriate order in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Collector, Bhagalpur, giving reference to the earlier applications filed by him, within a period of four weeks from today. Upon receipt of the same, the Collector, Bhagalpur, shall adjudicate the grievance of the petitioner by taking a final decision on the representation filed by the petitioner within a period of next eight weeks. The decision so taken shall also be communicated to the petitioner within the said period.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ application stands disposed.
